The Client Solutions and Email Systems department provides email service to the Columbia University community of students, faculty and staff. The service includes automatic backups of mail stored on our servers, support for secure protocols for sending and retrieving mail, and extensive spam-filtering. We also provide other items such as email forwarding, mailing lists, and mass mailing. Additionally, the department provides Google Apps support and deployment, as well as support and administration for Active Directory services such as storage requests, enable/disable accounts, and departmental file sharing.
