The MyColumbia Portal is a centralized gateway for Columbia's faculty and staff to access key administrative human resources and financial applications (ARC, PAC, FDS) via an authenticated, access-based portal. It is designed to enable Columbia's faculty and staff to find the information and password-protected resources they need quickly and easily in a single central location. Users, upon authenticating with their UNI/password and confirming with Duo MFA, will be presented a number of menu options to which they will have access, including self-service options to view your paycheck or change your benefits or tax information.

FAQ

MyColumbia creates a customized layout for you with content and services based on your roles at the University. For instance, all faculty and staff will see a page where they can view paychecks, update personal information, and perform related tasks. But only authorized administrators will see links to financial applications such as PAC and ARC.

MyColumbia contains information from many different University sources. For changes in content, contact the department that originates the information (e.g. Finance, Human Resources, CUIT).

Please send a ticket to CUIT with the information you would like to add and the UNI(s) of the person(s) in your department responsible for approving this decision.

If you are not brought to the MyColumbia homepage after submitting your login credentials, please check to ensure that cookies are enabled in your browser. The simplest way to determine this is to search “enable cookies” and your browser name (e.g. Chrome, Safari) and follow the instructions.

Single sign-on lets you log in using your UNI and password to access several secured applications without having to log in to each one individually. However not all myColumbia applications use single sign-on, therefore you may be asked to log in again after accessing the portal.

Click on the "Log In" link. The login screen will appear. Type in your Columbia UNI and password and click on the "Log In" button. Then authenticate your identity using Duo multi-factor authentication (you will first need to register for Duo). After authenticating, you will see a welcome greeting and you can begin using myColumbia.

The design of the current MyColumbia portal differs from the previous interface, which had tabs for Faculty and Staff, Email, etc. You should now have links for all the pages you were accustomed to having tabs for in the previous design. If you don't see a link to a page that you know you are authorized to see, please submit a ticket to CUIT.
