PawPrint Print Drivers

Using the PawPrint print driver is the fastest and easiest way to print with PawPrint. Install the proper PawPrint driver on your device to be able to print from an application on your computer. Alternatively, you may also upload your document using the PawPrint Center or with your mobile device, using the Pharos Print App.

Supported operating systems for the PawPrint driver include:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit and 32-bit)
  • Windows 11 (64-bit)
    • Please note that Home editions of Windows 10 and 11 are not supported. Windows Home users can use mobile print or print on campus.
  • macOS (11.0.x (Big Sur), 12.0.x (Monterey, 13.0.x (Ventura)
    • Please note that any time macOS is upgraded to a new major version, you must re-download the drivers and re-install them.
  • Linux and ChromeOS are not supported by the driver. Users can upload their documents to the PawPrint Center via a web browser.

Directions

  1. Click the download link for the Windows or Mac driver you need.
  2. Log in with your UNI for verification.
  3. After you click login, the file will immediately begin downloading, but the screen will not change or give indication of the download.
  4. Check your downloads folder to find the driver. Click on it to open and install after it has completed downloading.

Windows: Color and Black & White Drivers*

*Please note: When installing the Windows driver, the antivirus software may give you a warning about installing the driver. Please allow the software to install anyway.

MacOS: Color and Black & White Drivers

*Please note: After installing the Mac drivers, you may be prompted with a pop-up that warns, "Some of the software for the printer is missing". This is simply macOS downloading any additional software necessary to communicate with the printer and is OK to install. If you don't see this message, you should manually download HP Printer Drivers v5.1.1 for macOS

Potential Warning for macOS computers

MacOS might detect the currently installed HP software as "malware". If you encounter this issue, click on the Show in Finder button and move the file into your recycling bin. Then, reinstall the HP drivers manually: HP Printer Drivers v5.1.1 for macOS.
