Across Columbia's Morningside campus, Barnard College and Teachers College, 2,827 students voted this week to select the name of the new student printing system.

With 57% of the vote, PawPrint will be the name of the new student printing system at Morningside, as well as Barnard and Teachers College.

The PawPrint name was submitted first by Columbia College student Mackenzie Jones, Class of 2016. Congratulations to Mackenzie, who has won a 128GB iPad Mini and a $50 gift card to the University Bookstore!

Etienne Meriaux, a SEAS graduate student, was the first to suggest the name BluePrint, which garnered 23% of the student vote. Brett Krasner, GS/JTS '17, suggested LionPrint, which received 20% of the vote. Etienne and Brett both received a $50 gift card to the University Bookstore. Congratulations to both for making it to the final round.

We've reached out to Mackenzie, Etienne, and Brett, and in recognition of their contributions, we will share some information about each of them early next week.

Again, thank you to the more than 850 students who submitted names, and thank you to everyone who voted!
