Cisco VPN Client software enables you to create a secure connection, a Virtual Private Network, over the Internet and lets off-campus faculty and staff access administrative applications normally available only on campus.

Download and Installation

Current faculty and staff of Columbia University are eligible to download and use the VPN.

Download the installer (required UNI login):

Current Cisco AnyConnect VPN Desktop Client Software (preferred)

Visit and login to vpn.cc.columbia.edu to download the desktop client.

Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Software for iOS

Visit the App Store, download and install the Cisco AnyConnect app. Enter vpn.cc.columbia.edu for the server name.

Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Software for Android Devices

Visit the Google Play Store, download and install the Cisco AnyConnect ICS+ app. Enter vpn.cc.columbia.edu for the server name.
